Our Story

Zipperer Beefmaster was begun by Jennie Lee Zipperer in 1989. Her mission was to revolutionize genetics and produce some of the best breeding stock anyone could buy. She was not looking to simply do what everyone had done before, but rather do things her own way. Mrs. Zipperer served on the board of directors and as Vice President of the Central States Beefmaster Breeders Association. She later became the first female president of Beefmasters Breeders United. She loved the Beefmaster breed due to the Six Essentials, which include top-rated EPD growth, easy calving, feed efficiency, good milking ability, hardiness, easy keeping, and longevity. During these years, Mrs. Zipperer continued to grow the Beefmaster herd to have some of the best breeders and offspring around. After her death, her mission continued with her son and granddaughter, R. Douglas Zipperer and Rachel Zipperer. They have continued to follow in her footsteps, growing her herd that lives in harmony with the natural Florida habitat.

Our Mission

Today, Zipperer Beefmaster has decided to expand their reach to also providing the public with high-quality processed beef. This sparked from the need to have a traceable beef product, unlike those found in grocery stores. Our beef stands out from other products by providing customers with beef that is all natural. Our beef has high marbling and fat content, providing some of the best tasting beef you can get in South Florida.
